About Aqua Regia Gold Refinery Machine
An aqua regia gold refinery machine is a system that uses a mixture of nitric and hydrochloric acids to dissolve impure gold alloys, allowing for the separation of pure gold. These machines are designed to be safe, eco-friendly, and efficient, often featuring a non-corrosive reaction tank, a scrubber unit to neutralize fumes, and a condenser for acid recovery. The process is used to refine materials like old jewelry, sweeping dust, and polishing waste, achieving high purity with minimal loss.
Key components and features
Reaction Tank: A non-corrosive tank, often made of titanium or glass, to hold the gold and aqua regia mixture during dissolution.
Scrubber Unit: A system, often PH7 approved, that neutralizes and cleans the fumes produced during the process, preventing pollution and foul odors.
Condenser System: A component, sometimes a glass triple cycling system, that cools the mixture, allows for partial acid recovery, and helps neutralize fumes.
Single-User Operation: Designed to be operated by a single person, with features like auto-filling for acids.
Safety and Efficiency: Features include no sound or vibration, a compact design, and a focus on 100% pollution-free operation and high recovery rates of 99.99% purity.
Capacity: Machines are available in various capacities, from 1 kg to 100 kg and higher, to suit different needs.
How it works
Gold Dissolution: Impure gold is placed in the reaction tank. Aqua regia is added, and the solution is heated and agitated, causing the gold and other noble metals to dissolve. Other metals like silver are often precipitated as a solid and removed.
Fume and Acid Management: A scrubber unit neutralizes harmful fumes, and a condenser system recovers and reuses some of the acid.
Gold Precipitation: After the gold is dissolved in the solution, a precipitating agent is added to the mixture. This causes the gold to come out of the solution as a solid powder.
Recovery: The pure gold powder is then separated, cleaned, and can be melted and cast into bars or other forms.
